MP16 sockets: durable, robust and suitable for every application

Our world-renowned MP16-series comprises a complete range of waterproof enclosures designed primarily for boat and camper applications across Europe. It is available in stainless steel (both circular and square) and polyamide (chrome, black, and white), both 3-pin and Schuko sockets.

This socket is predominantly chosen for its durability, robust and functional design, and ease of installation. In many cases, it is an essential component of the Ratio Electric Shore Power System on board in boats and vehicles.

Interestingly, the unique qualities and characteristics of the IP-rated electrical outlet also make it a suitable solution for entirely different applications. A prime example of this is shown in the pictures below. Our Bulgarian partner, AVA-M Ltd from Sofia, has installed these sockets in the commercial kitchen of the prestigious 5-star Grand Hotel Millennium in Sofia. The version used is the MP16-230, a stainless steel Schuko outlet socket with IP56 rating. It has proven to be an excellent industrial solution for professional kitchens, seamlessly combining its functional benefits with the kitchen’s high-end aesthetics.
