Metered PDU with local information of power usage

The metered Power Distribution Unit with local input current meter allow network engineers to utilize the True RMS power monitor of the PDU to precisely measure the current (in A) that the IT devices are drawing from the power circuit. When new servers and devices are added to the server rack in the server room or datacenter, the impact on the cumulative power consumption can be observed immediately. Thus allowing the engineer to load each circuit to its maximum capacity without the danger of overloading causing possible failure of the PDU in the server rack.
