What is the Wireless Sensorbox?
The Wireless Sensorbox is a wireless solution for Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB), specially developed for the Ratio Solar and Io6 EV Chargers. Instead of a physical data cable, the system communicates via wireless technology with the P1 meter in the meter box. This means the charging station matches the available power to the energy consumption in the house in real-time. This without the need to run cables through the house.
Practical benefits for installers and end users
Installers save not only time but also costs thanks to the Wireless Sensorbox's wireless operation. Need to replace an old charging station without load balancing? Then it is no longer necessary to open up the ground for a data cable. This makes replacement much easier and more cost-effective. The Wireless Sensorbox only works with the smart meter's P1 meter and is not compatible with CT terminals. Always check that the P1 meter has been tested by Ratio for full compatibility.
